Use of Weed Killers on Property Boundaries

The Parish Council would like to remind residents of their responsibility and neighbourly conduct when using weed killer around the village.

The Parish Council would like to kindly remind residents to refrain from using weed killer or other chemical treatments along the boundaries of properties or land that they do not own.

We understand that many of you take pride in keeping the village tidy and well-maintained, and we are very grateful for your continued efforts. However, applying weed killer beyond your own property lines, especially on public land or neighbouring boundaries, can cause unintended damage to plants, hedges, wildlife habitats, and property not under your care.

If you notice areas that you believe need attention, please report them to the Parish Council, and we will do our best to address them appropriately and safely.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping to preserve the natural environment and maintain good neighbourly relations across the village.

Thank you for your continued support.
