James, along with his wife Emilie and their daughter Ivy, moved to Farrington Gurney a few years ago in search of a quieter life away from London. Having grown up in a small village himself, James has a deep appreciation for the value of close-knit communities and how they thrive by working together.
With over a decade of experience in IT support and event management software—where he led a Training and Development team—James now helps run The Old Parsonage in the village.
He has served on the Parish Council for the past four years and has recently stepped into the role of Chair, succeeding Mike Hedges. In addition to this, James oversees Highways matters and supports the Community Speed Watch initiative.
