Mike Hedges

Mike together with his wife has lived in many parts of the UK, but Somerset was where it started and is the retirement choice for them both.  Mike has lived in the village since the 80s and is firmly a rock for our community.  Mike was a young Police officer helping Micheal Eavis when Glastonbury first started and went on to be Chief Constable within the UK police force where his work, ideas, and projects are still part of our everyday lives. He’s now ‘retired’ to only being the Chair of the Memorial, Village Club & Playing Fields Committee, Rotary member, and ex-chair of the Parish Council, which he has been a member for years.  Mike has a gift for finding solutions to many village issues and is exceptional at diplomacy.
